Helping You Achieve a Natural, Healthy Pregnancy, Birth + Beyond

Are you struggling to get pregnant?

Is PCOS, endometriosis or unexplained infertility getting the better of you?

Natural conception and pregnancy is possible in most cases, you just need to know how and where to start.

Here at Natural Earthy Mama I will share with you what to eat, and what you should be avoiding to optimize your hormonal health.

I will never tell you that your only hope is to lose weight.

Through following a high nutrient, low toxin fertility diet many will find that as your body gets healthy, it is free to shed the toxic fat that it has had to hold on to.

There are other lifestyle factors that make a huge difference in your fertility and hormonal and emotional balance – and none of it involves running!

Knowledge is power – use that knowledge to take control of your hormones. Using supplements and herbs in the right way can be a powerful tool in combating infertility.

Natural Earthy Mama is here to help you achieve a natural conception, and to go on to enjoy a healthy pregnancy, labor and motherhood.

Hi, I’m Dana.

I’m mama to 3 children, and seriously struggled with infertility, but managed to conceive all 3 children naturally, when modern medicine told me I could not have kids.

I am a certified Ketogenic Living Coach and a Natural Wellness and Fertility Expert. I am also a Registered Nurse with a post graduate certificate in mothers and babies.

My professional and personal experience is in health, fertility, pregnancy and babies and I am super happy to share that knowledge with you.

I am a homesteading, homeschooling, geeky, somewhat crunchy, blogging, crazy person who is really a garden loving painter at heart. I also blog over at Piwakawaka Valley Homestead which is where we live in beautiful little ol’ New Zealand. I also write meal plans for and provide ketogenic diet and lifestyle coaching through

I have fought long and hard with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and male factor infertility, and so far I am (mostly) winning.

I have learned many things along the way about what helps, and what really doesn’t, and I want to share that knowledge with you all.

Whether you are on the beginning of your fertility journey, have all but given up, or already have several children, I trust you will find something here that is useful to you.

My life is too busy to do all of the social medias – but please join me on Pinterest!

Enjoy your stay here, grab a coffee (or cup of herbal tea…) and sit in the sun somewhere and have a read.
