There are many benefits to starting the keto diet plan.

This list is not to try and convince you. If these reasons sit well with you, excite you. Then maybe this is the right diet for you.

Keto Diet Plan Benefit One: weight loss

This is most likely the main reason for you exploring the Keto Diet further.

Many people think that the Keto diet can help them lose weight. And in fact, this is true.

Most people will find that in the first few weeks of following the Keto diet in its fullest that they can lose anywhere between 2-20 pounds (some loose more!)

Sustained Keto can enable your body to lose weight over a sustained amount of time, and keep it off.

There are many reasons why the Keto Diet helps with weight loss, the main is that your body starts to function in Ketosis.

Ketosis is when your body uses fat for fuel rather than glucose.

When you retrain your body to use fat as fuel, it will burn fat very efficiently which means you can lose weight.

Ketosis is the most important key to the Keto Diet and what makes it different to other diets.

There are many very simple ways to add more fat into your diet, it doesn’t need to be complicated or expensive. 

In order to get into Ketosis and burn fat efficiently, you need to stop feeding your body carbohydrates and sugar so that your body can switch into using fat.

Three: fertility

There is evidence that shows that the Keto Diet can be a really good solution to fertility.

To put it simply, fertility is supported and healed with eating according to the ketogenic diet.

The Keto Diet is fantastic for balancing of insulin and hormones. As you know, this is very important to become fertile or support fertility.

PCOS is a condition that effects far too many women. At the root of the problem of PCOS is both insulin and hormone issues.

If you have PCOS, then the Keto Diet is 100% worth exploring.

Four: Cut out sugar

When you are correctly following the Keto Diet, you will naturally be cutting out sugar. Sugar has no place in the Keto Diet.

The reason for this is that your body needs to adapt to using fat as fuel. If you continue to feed your body sugar (including carbohydrates) then your body will automatically switch back to the sugar every time.

To stay in ketosis, you cannot be feeding your body sugar.

Cutting out sugar can actually be very difficult. It has a drug like addiction to it. You may find yourself having cravings, shakes, or even feeling ill as your body moves into a sugar detox.

Five: Health

This really is the number one reason that underpins all of the above. If you don’t have your health, you don’t have anything.

Please do not ever take your health for granted. If you are healthy you are blessed.

If your body is lacking areas of health, then the Keto Diet can truly support your healing process. When you feed your body the right foods, it can health itself.

Your body is an amazing tool and we need to be looking after it well.
